The pets of Victoria Pet Adoption Society are lucky enough to now be part of PetFinder.com Foundation's Sponsor-A-Pet Program. If you would like to sponsor, or make a donation toward, a specific pet in our adoption program you can now do so by clicking the Sponsor Me logo next to any of our adoptable pets listed on www.petfinder.com.

Thank you PetFinder for including our adoptables in your Sponsor-A-Pet Program!

VPAS would like to say a big THANK YOU to the Kayak Foundation and the Calgary Foundation for their support. VPAS recently received a grant from the Kayak Foundation through the Calgary Foundation to help provide much-needed medical care to homeless pets. Thank you for your support! Your generosity has allowed us to make a life-changing difference for pets in need.

VPAS is now a Charity!

Victoria Pet Adoption Society is now a Charitable Foundation. All receipts issued for donations larger than $10 are now tax deductible. Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to get us to this next step. Charitable status will allow us to collect more donations than we've been able to collect in the past, therefore helping more pets find their forever homes!

Victoria Pet Adoption Society is now including six weeks of free Pet Secure pet insurance with the adoption of any cat or dog between the ages of 8 weeks and 4 years and four weeks of free Trupanion pet insurance with the adoption of any cat or dog between 4 years & 13 years of age.

Our Webpage Now Features Pet-Friendly Housing Listings

Like many animal rescue organizations, VPAS is inundated with pets that need to be rehomed because owners must move to places where their beloved pets are not allowed. If you are looking for a home where your pet(s) will be welcome, or if you have a pet-friendly rental, please check out our Pet-Friendly Housing page under the resources tab. We hope that by offering this service we will be able to reduce the number of homeless pets in shelters and increase the number of pets that can remain at home.
